A person who deceived citizens by presenting himself as an employee of “Azersu” OJSC appeared in Nizami district

A person who deceived citizens by presenting himself as an employee of “Azersu” OJSC appeared in Nizami district of Baku. This person, who was not been identified yet, demanded money from entrepreneurs in exchange for the installation and replacement of water meters in the uniform of “Azersu” OJSC. This person proposed to install a water meter in exchange of 80 AZN in a private kindergarten located in 50A Rustamov Street, Nizami district. After that, the management of the kindergarten appealed to Nizami District Sukanal Branch of “Azersu” OJSC. Employees of the department immediately visited the facility. Although the person left the area, camera footage was obtained. Owners of nearby facilities and apartments also informed us that this has happened to them before. The revealed fact will be appealed to law enforcement agencies.

We would like to bring to the citizens’ attention the fact that “Azersu” employees performing their official duties should be required to have a card and in no case should they be paid in cash. Consumers are asked to inform the 955 Call Center immediately in case if they encounter such illegal actions or persons posing as employees of “Azersu” OJSC.

Subscribers are also required to pay for the use of drinking and wastewater services via the Internet (azersu.az, e-su.az portal or various payment sites), banks, post offices, as well as payment terminals.
