Improvement of drinking water supply to the martyrs’ families and veterans is in focus

“Azersu” OJSC pays constant attention to improving the use of drinking and waste water services by the families of patriotic sons who rose to the peak of martyrdom or were wounded during the Patriotic War.

Necessary work has been done to improve the water supply of the families of martyrs and veterans on the basis of appeals received from Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as the regions. As part of the projects implemented at the expense of internal resources, water lines with a total length of 51 km were laid. Over the past year, drinking water supply had been improved for a total of 769 families, including 457 martyrs and 312 veterans.

From the water lines laid for the families of martyrs and veterans, new connections were made to nearby private houses and water meters were also installed and the population living in those areas was provided with uninterrupted drinking water.

In the past, a number of measures have been taken to connect individual houses of martyrs and veterans with sewage problems to the sewage system. For this purpose, sewer lines with a total length of 3 km were built.
