A man who introduced himself as an “Azersu” employee and deceived people was exposed in Sabunchu district

A person who deceived citizens by presenting himself as an employee of “Azersu” OJSC appeared in the Sabunchu district of Baku. An unidentified person, who introduced himself as Ali, demanded money from subscribers in exchange for not cutting off water due to receivables. Subscribers claimed Elchin Guliyev, an engineer at the Sabunchu District Sukanal Department of “Azersu” OJSC that they had paid another employee in cash before his visit. Surveillance cameras in the area captured the image of the person. The facts and documents on the case were submitted to law enforcement agencies for investigation.

“Azersu” OJSC once again informs its subscribers that they should demand ID cards from “Azersu” employees, never pay them in cash, and immediately inform the 955 Call Center if they encounter illegal actions of employees. Subscribers are asked to pay for the use of drinking and wastewater services via the Internet (azersu.az, e-su.az portal, various payment sites), banks, post offices, as well as payment terminals.
