A person who introduced himself as an employee of “Azersu” OJSC and deceived citizens in the Nasimi district of Baku had been exposed. The unidentified person forged a fake ID and demanded money from citizens in exchange for the installation of meters and receivables.

On June 29, Agash Nasirov, a locksmith at “Azersu” OJSC, accidentally witnessed a person demanding money from one of his subscribers in the name of installing a meter and demanded a license. Seeing that the fraudulent act was uncovered, the man tried to get away from the area by using physical force on our employee, and then threw the folder in his hand and fled.

A fake ID card with no name and surname, notices of “Azersu” OJSC, “Azerishig” OJSC and “Azerigas” PU, 2 notebooks, applications from subscribers to refuse to install meters and various lists were found in the folder belonging to the person who introduced himself as Sabuhi. The facts and documents on the case revealed by the Legal Department of “Azersu” OJSC have been submitted to the law enforcement agencies for investigation.

“Azersu” OJSC informs consumers to ask for ID cards from employees, not to pay them in any case, and to immediately inform the 955 Call Center if they come across illegal actions of employees. Subscribers are asked to pay for the use of drinking and wastewater services via the Internet (azersu.az website, e-su.az portal or various payment sites), banks, post offices, as well as payment terminals.
