To ensure the execution of responsibilities arising from the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On some measures to ensure the provision of electronic services by government agencies”, to increase accessibility, transparency and efficiency of services provided to citizens Electronic Water Portal (http: / /e-su.az) was put into operation by “Azersu” OJSC.

At a briefing on the presentation of the portal which took place on September 24, Emil Ahmadov, head of the Department of Electronic Management and Modern Technologies of “Azersu” OJSC, said that this system is being used for the first time in the utilities sector. The portal has been available to citizens in the initial version since September this year. Many e-services implemented by “Azersu” OJSC are integrated on a single platform on the portal. This system is also important in terms of minimizing citizen-officials communication.

Access to the Electronic Water Portal is implemented via “Asanlogin”. After logging in, the subscriber code, phone number and e-mail address are entered. As the system is integrated into the e-Government Portal, information about the user is immediately visible in the system during registration.

The portal allows users to manage 5 subscriber codes, and citizens immediately receive subscriber information in accordance with these codes. Here you can get notifications and make payments for drinking water and wastewater services. At the same time, subscribers can get information about all payments through the system. This will clarify controversial issues related to future payments. Through the portal, consumers can get notifications by presenting the indicators of mechanical meters. In the future, citizens will be able to use the services of obtaining technical specifications, checking water samples, registration of new users.

This system also allows tracking the status of execution of appeals addressed to “Azersu” OJSC. Thus, citizens can follow the implementation of the appeal live from the day of appeal. They can get information about the current stage of execution of the appeal, the deadline and the responsible persons. When additional time is required to investigate appeals, the citizen is notified online.

“Online chat" is also available for citizens on the portal, and users can take advantage of this opportunity 24 hours a day.

Some services are active in the current initial version. Regular work is being done to expand the range of services provided on the portal. The mobile version of the portal will be launched next year.
